Hey friends, It's Laura here today with a challenge to hopefully get your creativity going.
I thought I would challenge you guys to create something using visual triangles. I use this all the time in both my cards, and scrapbook pages. It helps me to know when to add more embellishments, and also how to draw your eye to something when I want to.
It's really simple to create a visual triangle, and the way I tend to do it the most is with colored embellishments and details. On this page I created two different ones, and both serve to draw your eyes into the middle of the page.
Here I've added some drawn lines in photoshop and added a colored dot to help you see what I'm talking about.
It basically means that your eyes are drawn to different points, but always end up in the center of the triangle, where in this case I have the photograph. It's a simple design tool, but can be an important one to have up your sleeve. :)
Here are some detail shots of my page too.
I hope you liked my page today, and I would love to see any projects you make, so post them in our Flickr gallery for us all to see.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Laura :)
