We hope you had a wonderful New Year! Danni here with you today along with Alex, Laura and Jill. We have been busy finishing our final (or close to final) touches on our Very Merry December albums. This has been a most remarkable experience for me, personally, because it's my first December Daily and I am officially in love with the process. It was the first time I actually thought about everything that makes Christmas "our Christmas" especially to the kids. Documenting everything was the easiest part, even though I didn't get everything, I feel like I was able to document quite a bit this year. Each year, I will add to it, touch on some parts, expand on others, but boy will I document it, good times. My album is almost finished, I have not shared all my pages here with you, but have shared a good portion more. With us doing group posts, they are long and so there's not the space to share every single page, but hopefully we can share some more ideas. Enjoy and happy creating, we can't wait to see YOUR Very Merry December Albums!

this was our Christmas card this year, and I wanted to make sure to save one since it was a photo card, something I wouldn't normally have thought of doing

My daughter's first dance, a Snow Dance, and a bunch of her girlfriends

(typo on "embellishments" sorry i didn't catch that in photoshop)

tables and food from Christmas morning and Christmas dinner

I was in LOVE with the Starbucks coffee cards this year, loved these cute cups and saved them for the album as hanging embellishments, cute, cute, cute they are.

our tree and some presents (I do have 2 pages, not shown, filled with pics of kids and everyone opening presents along with swatches of various wrapping papers from this year sewn into pockets)

Our trip to San Francisco, loooved every minute of it, will be doing an entire album of our trip

Santa tracking, an annual tradition and yet I have never documented it until this year (....grab my camera)

And here's what she had to say in her own words:
"I still can't believe that I have finished my December daily album! My original plan was to include the whole December, but I chose to end it with Christmas. Mostly because I got sick and didn't take any pictures between Christmas and New Year Eve. I also included one last page with my thoughts and feelings about the month. I really like to cut out pockets from page protectors and use them as dividers or to include more photos in one day. I've been doing that throughout my album. I also used one of the sleeves for the 4x4 photos to scrap two 4x6 photos instead (day 23). If you want to see how I made the washi tree between days 22 and 23, check out my simple tutorial
here. Oh and don't get confused. In Sweden we open our gifts on Christmas Eve :-)"

And here's what she had to say in her own words:
With December at it's end, I'm so excited to really finish up my album. I still have a few pages to fill in, but I'm thinking they will be simple picture only pages of the big day since I took SO many pictures Christmas day. I have these three spreads to share with you today. My oldest son ended up sick on Christmas day and spent most of the day on the couch, poor thing! Then he burst all the blood vessels on his eye lids from being sick, and it broke my heart. I took a picture of it to include because It just represented how poorly he felt, is that strange of me? :) Anyhow, as always I loved adding fun bits and pieces to these pages and have really fallen in love with this kit! I hope you did too! :)

Here's what she had to say in her own words:
As the days of December drew to a close, they seemed to pass by in a blur. I kept my camera close at hand in attempt to find some clarity in the midst of that "blur." On the last few pages of my album, I compiled a bunch of snapshots taken during the last week of the year, and worked in journaling that captures some of the highlights of the holidays that define that week.
On one of the last pages of the album, I added a page of journaling, reflecting on the events of the month and looking ahead to where the holidays will find us in the future.
While this is such a busy, busy time for all of us mommies, we hope you find the time to reflect, enjoy and savor, through your albums as we have through ours. We look forward to seeing what all you will and are creating in our
