Hey, it's Michelle. The holidays are well past us now but I'm sure there are plenty of you that still need to finish up your Daily December. About this time of year we are ready to move on to other crafty ventures but it feels so good to have a completed a full Daily December, right? I'm sharing a page of my album with you for a little nudge if you might need one.
This is a divided insert page from my holiday album. I used stamps and embellishments from the Very Merry December Mini-Book kit and the Make it Merry collection.
The cute stamps from the Very Merry kit were just so festive, I loved using them in my 2012 holiday album. I combined them with some typewriter journaling and a fun number brad.
For this pocket, I tucked in a vintage die cut image, sprinkled in some confetti snow and then stitched the pocket shut. The image is reversible so the same cuteness showed through on the back side of this insert. I attached a tin pin to the outside of the page protector.
On the back of this insert I embellished more pockets with a stamped vintage flash card attached to a pocket with mini staples.
The postcards are perfect for filling up a pocket if you don't have a particular photo in mind. This is actually a flipper piece that opens up to expose more photos and journaling. I used stitching, Washi tape and a tin pin to finish the holiday look.
I hope you're still truckin' along with your holiday albums. Good luck everyone!
