Hey everyone! Roree here with today's Thursday Sketch Challenge.
First off, the sketch:
I created this sketch in an 8 1/2 x 11" format. This size works well for 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" cards too.
Here is the card I created using the sketch.
I used the woodgrain patterned paper from the new Farm Girl collection along with paper, chipboard, and die cuts from Woodland Park, trim from Sasparilla, and buttons from Midway.
I created a little cluster of embellishments to take place of the photos and flowers in the sketch.
I just love how well the different collections can work so well together!
Lexi played along with the sketch this week and created this beautiful card:
For her card, she used patterned paper from the Witch Hazel collection. Even though this
collection has a Halloween theme, she used it in a way the would work
well for any season. Lexi omitted one of the photo blocks and created a border with lace trim from Sasprilla and some twine. She also used October Afternoon fabric to make one of the leaves.
This card definitley has a gorgeous autumn feel to
it, don't you think?
I hope you enjoyed today's sketch. If you get a chance to play along, don't forget to post your project in the OA Flickr group. We can't wait to see how you interpret it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
