Hi everyone, Mou here with today's challenge: make quick and easy Halloween cards with Witch Hazel Postcards.
I have Marcy with me and here's her take on the challenge.
Marcy says, "I love the postcards that are part of the Witch Hazel collection... especially the back sides! They're the perfect neutral backdrop for layers."
I love how Marcy used the back of the postcard as the base for her card. Neat!
And here's my take... I used the front of my postcard.
I started with a few elements: a piece of Elixir of Eucalyptus paper, a strip of Devil's Claw paper, some buttons, a bit of trim, a label sticker, and of course, a Witch Hazel Postcard!
I layered the papers and the trim, added the postcard as the main image, attached the label sticker at the bottom left, clustered three buttons near it, hand wrote my sentiment, and machine stitched to secure the elements in place. It was ready in less than 10 minutes!
So, you see whether you use the front or the back, these postcards are really handy for making easy, quick, and fun cards!
You can take the challenge too! Please upload your creations to the OA Flickr Group so we can all be inspired!
