Hi October Afternoon fans! Today we are so excited to welcome two new faces to our Design Team! Please welcome, Mou Saha and Michelle Wooderson!
Let's get to know them a little better, shall we?
Hi, I'm Mou Saha, contributing writer for Creating Keepsakes magazine and an instructor at Big Picture Classes. My scrapbooking journey began when I saw my first issue of CK in March 2004... first, I became a subscriber, then a contributor, dream team member and eventually contributing writer. I love to make layouts about my children and our everyday life. I love to experiment, particularly with mixed media techniques. There's something I do in every layout I make-I hand write my journaling as it is the most personal part of my scrapbooks. I also design for 7 Gypsies, Anna Griffin, Faber-Castell Design Memory Crafts, and Glitz Design. I am from India and currently live in Tampa, Florida with my husband, two kiddos and our newest addition, Brave the puppy. I'm loving every minute of this creative journey.

Now let's get to know Michelle a bit more.
My name is Michelle Wooderson and I live the great heartland of Kansas with my husband, two teenage daughters and our dog Charlie. My crafting days began rather early when I would help my mother design Bible School crafts for our church. From there I have always been interested in art and design. I received my college degree in Interior Design and soon realized it was the graphic design and pen & paper aspect that I loved the most about my studies. My start in the paper crafting industry began just about the time my oldest daughter was born 15 years ago. A local scrapbook store opened up, I picked up the first issue of Creating Keepsakes and I attended a stamping workshop all around the same time frame. It was love at first sight and several thousand patterned papers later, here I am. I currently own my online shop where I sell paper and packaging goods and I am also a Creative Team Member for Becky Higgins' Project Life. I have worked with many talented owners and designers on teams such as Papertrey Ink, Copic, Ellen Hutson, and Karen Lockhart. I have been published in several magazines but my true paper crafting love is scrapbooking and creating cards & gifts for loved ones. My creations reflect my love for all things handmade and have a very homespun feel. I combine my love of paper crafting with other interests as well including sewing, quilting, cooking, canning, gardening, junking, reading and sports. I am thrilled to be joining the October Afternoon Design Team as I have been a huge fan since their very first days. I hope you enjoy my creations as well.
