Hello everyone, Mou here with today's challenge!
Here & Now books and chapters, to me, are primarily mini book products. But they have many more creative possibilities beyond mini books. My challenge is for you to use this conventionally mini book product in a layout.
Jill and I took the same challenge and here's what we came up with...
Jill says, "I used a sheet of Witch Hazel "Elixir of Eucalyptus" as the foundation for this layout, and layered sheets from the Woodland Park, Cakewalk, and 9 to 5 Here & Now Chapters over each other. I wanted the layout to have a playful feel, so I layered the papers and accents at angles. I also modified a few of the Chapters sheets, painting the girls' initials in one, and cutting cutting into others to create the title and the "Ha Ha Ha" speech bubble. Pop dots under the bubble add a bit of dimension to the layout, as does the ruffled ribbon at the bottom of the layout. I overlapped two lengths of ribbon and folded them over in sections, slowly sewing over each section as it was formed."
And here's my take:
I picked just one chapter insert and made it part of my title. I journaled below it, so my chapter doubles as journaling spot. I used Here & Now Chapter, Bunny Tail Trail paper, Old Mill Bridge paper, 12x12 Alpha stickers, 12x12 Shape Stickers, Printed Chip Shapes, and Miscellany, all from the Woodland Park collection.
You can take the challenge too! Please upload your creations to the OA Flickr Group so we can all be inspired!
