Happy Friday! We have another awesome layout from our April guest designer, Jing-Jing Nickel.
Since the first time I heard this song by Bruno Mars, I'd been contemplating how to use the lyrics on a scrapbook page. Then one sunny afternoon, she happened to have this natural look about her with her hair down and I knew these would be the photos to go with the Bruno Mars song.
October Afternoon has these fantastic mini-market stickers that make it easy to create sentences in a compact way. The 5 & Dime collection's alphabet set has varying sizes of letters which are perfect for highlighting a few words in the lyrics. To further break up the potentially monotonous look in creating an entire sentence, I used some label stickers and added the mini-market letters onto those. As always, I rely on my 3-d foam adhesives to create dimension. Throw in a few pretty doily stickers, vintage buttons, I think I like it "just the way it is." ;)
Such an awesome layout Jing-Jing! On another note, did you know that October Afternoon is now on Twitter? Come follow us @oct_afternoon. We will be doing a giveaway once we reach 500 followers!
We will see you all next week. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
