The best kind of Fridays include thrift stores...and today was a very good thrift shop day. We are getting so excited for CHAW...it's all coming together! Super SUPER excited about the amazing products that will be released! Can't wait to show some sneak peeks here!
Designer We Love Laura Williams sent over this sweet little baby book for me to share with you today. She says "I love to create these baby books as gifts for friends. They are a quick and easy project to complete in an afternoon or evening. I simply cut 6x6 pieces of cardstock and patterned papers, punch holes on one side, and attach them together with book rings, found at the office supply store. Tying ribbon or fabric strips along the outside of the rings will give the book a bit more stability, and help the pages from flopping around. Documenting memories, and organizing photographs, let alone creating a scrapbook can be completely overwhelming to a new mom, so I hope these will give my mama friends a head start. I keep the books super simple, so they aren't daunting to a non-scrapbooker. I don't add too much, so she has room to fit as many pictures as she'd like on the pages. I also give the new mom a little bag of extra tags, stickers, and cardstock pieces so that she can add extra embellishments, notes, and mat the photographs as she likes."
Your friends are blessed to know you Laura! What a special gift for a mom-to-be! Happy Friday friends! Hope you have a great weekend!
