Amanda Smith wows us with her sweet banner here! I love how she uses brown felt here to make each letter really stand out! She uses Very Merry, Campfire, Thrift Shop, and Modern Homemaker here for a great mix!
I whipped up a little advent calendar last night for this jolly event too! This is not a new idea by any means, but I thought they would be perfect hung in this old window! Each tag is hanging with a little brown sack covering each tag that is numbered. You pull off the brown sack (which you can find at your LSS or even at Michaels) and the tag underneath has an idea of something fun to do with your family each day. Some of the examples are "Pop a bowl of popcorn and watch your favorite holiday movie together." "Put on your best pair of slippery socks and slide across the kitchen floor." "Bake Christmas cookies together." "Go for a drive to see the lights in your neighborhood." "Deliver a gift for a neighbor or friend." Get the picture? If you needed ideas of what to add to your cards you could always check out our post that everyone has added their favorite holiday traditions...you may just find a new one! :)
I used Good Cheer, Very Merry, and even a few bits and pieces from the Campfire line. Now that you have gotten to see our fun inspiring holiday projects head over to Maren's blog to see more! Happy Friday!
