Designer we love...

Lexi Bridges sent on over this awesome Campfire layout. She sometimes wonders if her little guy is part squirrel because of his acorn gathering obsession! :) I just love that Mc Donald Lodge patterned paper she uses for her background. The little leaf gatherings scattered here and there make this fun fall layout perfect!

I am loving the details here!

I also have a fun layout that design team member Vivian Masket sent over using Modern Homemaker! She uses one of the chipboard album house shaped pages here to coordinate with photos of her little ones decorating gingerbread houses. How cute! I think the Modern Homemaker papers are perfect for Christmas photos! Thanks Vivian!

I have gotten a few emails asking if we are going to have another Santa's Sack Sale again tomorrow, and the answer is an enthusiastic YES! Be looking for a post about it first think in the morning! :)

I'm dreaming of the seaside...

And what a perfect way to start off an overcast Minnesota day than with a sunny album featuring our Seaside line! This popped into my inbox this morning and I started dreaming of the seaside. Gillian Lester sent this over, who happens to live in Australia and was finally able to use Seaside because it's summer there now. Nice! I think I should live in Australia in the winter.

Do you love it? I have to admit...my favorite page is the back cover where her sweet daughter wrote "My day at the beach." What a great idea to have your child in their own handwriting add to your mini book!

Campfire Tuesday!

Hi there! Just stopping by to share a few fun projects by design team member Vivian Masket. This layout using Campfire is simply fun!

She also shared with us this fun "Egyptian Royalty" layout using the papers from our Campfire line. Showing us all how versatile this line is! Fun!

How did I end up this lucky?

Hope everyone had a beautiful holiday! I got to spend the weekend with my favorite people in my favorite place...my family in Colorado! There is nothing like being home for the holidays! (On a side note...it is 7 COLD degrees in St. Paul today...and in Denver there will be a high of 47 degrees. I'm just saying!)

This morning I am excited to share another layout from our amazing guest designer this month Karen Grunden! Karen is the queen of using the white space on her layouts to make her journaling and her title shine! I love everything about this layout...from the little collage of small photos, to the butterfly in the right-hand corner peeking onto the page. I love her title too...and after this special holiday weekend I think I need a Christmas layout using her words. How did I end up this lucky?

And here is a darling card by our DT member Vivian Masket. This is the perfect card for the after Christmas rush! I love what it says...I would love to have lots of time to do nothing just like the Little Bear! And those buttons are so cute lined up at the bottom!

On the eve of the eve...

Meaning of course Christmas eve-eve. Feeling like a scatter brain today as I forgot to send my kiddos teacher gifts with them this morning, we'll have to pass them out when I pick them up this afternoon I guess! I'm so excited that they will be on Christmas break and I can soak up, and enjoy every single minute with them!

We are also gearing up for another Santa's Sack Sale box tomorrow! For those of you wishing for more OA embellishments...you will want to check back here for all the details! If you're anything like me and you have enough patterned paper to last you a lifetime this box will just do the trick!

I have some really fun projects to share by our Design Team member Vivian Masket today. This layout features our Modern Homemaker line and is a simple 2 page spread that makes her photos take the spotlight! And yes Vivian...you are a VERY nice mom! :)

She also sent over two cards using our Campfire line. I love that little fox from this line...he's my favorite!

We {heart} Laura Williams!

This Wednesday is brought to you by Designer We Love Laura Williams and her cards! If you need a last minute card for a teacher or a neighbor...how cute is this? Those wild cards are absolutely the perfect thing for cards!

And here is another card she made using Modern Homemaker and the chipboard sticker percolator. I have the same image that I made into a magnet hanging in my office. It's just so stinkin' cute! Thanks Laura for the inspiration!

And as I mentioned last week...it was supposed to be "unfortunate Christmas sweater" day here in the OA office. I'm really the only one who is unfortunate looking today. Nice! Actually I can't blame them, because they are all working their hardest to put on a stellar CHAW show for all of you! Ugly sweaters aren't quite as important. :) You've gotta love our Charlie's Angels pose here...it's such a Christmas classic! LOL!

Things are hoppin'!

Just an update...the Santa's Sack Sale from Friday is officially SOLD OUT! Congrats to those of you who got one! We are changing it up a little for this Friday's box! Can't wait to tell you all about it! :) I am getting so excited for the upcoming holidays! (Not so excited about getting a year older 3 days after Christmas! :) This Christmas I bought myself a little early Christmas gift. And let me first say that usually I don't buy myself anything...and if I do it's usually something really awesome like a snow shovel or a cordless mouse for my laptop. Nothing fun. So this year...and for the past 2 years I had been wanting a little Fuji Instax camera. I went back and forth about buying it...it felt selfish...and I really didn't "need" it! (Anyone else feel that way?) Being a single mom I always feel like I could do something more important with that money. Save it or spend it on someone else is what i usually do. But my sister offered to give me some Christmas cash for it and so I took her up on it and got it a few days ago. Oh my goodness...I have been having so much fun with that little thing! My latest project is taking photos of my Christmas decorations and then adding the photo to the top of a Christmas gift as a little decoration/and to:/from: tag. It's addictive I tell you! I'm going to have to show photos tomorrow! All I can say is that I may have spoiled myself a little, but I sure am enjoying it! :)

Here is a simple and quick card I made late last night! Seems I never have time to scrap anymore...I'm going to make a concentrated effort to change that! Maybe after the holidays?

Beautiful!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend!I finished up my Christmas shopping, got the Christmas cards in the mail and even got a lot of work done! Time to take a few deep breaths and relax. I love the feeling of being able to take some time before the holidays to reflect. It's such a beautiful season. And speaking of beautiful...would you look at this layout by Karen Grunden our Guest Designer for the month of December?!
