Our design team has been busy...

Since we brought them all the way to California, we decided to put them to work (even if it wasn't in the booth as we expected!)

We had so many comments and great suggestions in response to our opening contest, we just *had* to up the prize winners from 3 to *5*!

Here are the randomly chosen winners with their comments:

I love sneak peeks, but most of all I like to see clever use of the products.  Maybe unconventional uses and altered items and mini books.  I like to see older products used along side the new stuff too.

I would love to see how all of the design team uses the products, lots of layouts.  I love seeing how different people end up using the same products, it really is great inspiration for me.  Maybe even some challenges to get the readers involved.  I can't wait to see more from October Afternoon!

Just in case googling over the product itself isnt enough, I would also love to see a variety of sketches with "step by step" details of how it was all put together! Not to mention how fun it would be to be challenged!!!

Make Way for Ducklings

Due to some last minute CHA madness, we were unable to post the sneak yesterday as planned.  So, we're switching things up!  Today we bring you our second line of papers - "Ducks in a Row".  After all, the papers are what you really want to see, right?

"Ducks in a Row" is a classic baby collection reminiscent of story book images from days past. It's our first baby collection, and we're proud of this new addition.  With it's soft, playful hues and patterns, it's perfect for scrappin' the little ones.

Mama duck and her ducklings await! Let us know what you think of the collection...

 

Introducing "Cherry Hill" . . .

Without further ado, we introduce you to a vintage-inspired collection of some of October Afternoon's favorite icons: blossoming flowers, ripened cherries,  buzzing bees, and twittering birds.  Eclectic in nature with a hint of retro charm, "Cherry Hill" is one of October Afternoon's newest collections.

This is a partial reveal of the first of three brand new collections.  Check back soon to see more great embellishments for this line, including my favorite new thing . . . "Wild Cards"!

We will be sharing the rest of this collection and two other fun new lines with you over the next several days.

  

 

 

 

A New Home

 

We’re excited to announce the grand opening of October Afternoon’s new blog! To celebrate the big event, we’re giving away a great assortment of October Afternoon products.  All we ask of you is to tell us what you want to see on our blog! We’re organizing a great line-up of posts in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you up to date with October Afternoon’s latest products, design team, and everything October Afternoon related. Next week, we’ll introduce our design team members and some of their latest October Afternoon creations.

ALSO . . . beginning this evening, we're posting sneak peeks of our new CHA product!  We will continue to post additional sneak peeks throughout the week.  You won’t want to miss this!
