Is it just us, or is December flying by? eeeek
Today Alex, Laura and myself will be sharing the first few pages of our Very Merry December Albums with you.
Here are the first four days of Alex's amazing Very Merry December album
here is what Alex has to say, in her own words, about each day:
"I am having so much fun making this album! I am trying to tell one story per day and they don't need to be related to Christmas. The story for December 1st was given; my daughter lighting the first Advent candle. I planned to have a single page for this day and I wanted to have a big picture, so I wrote my journaling in Photoshop before printing out the photo. That way, I got both in the same pocket."
"I am the kind of person who has trouble planning ahead, and like to make my pages as I go. For that reason, all I've finished so far is my title page, which I really had fun making! I will probably order my photo's in batches for each week, and then sit down to create a week at a time. Then I can figure out the front and back sides of my pages and make sure they are really cohesive. For now I use sticky notes that I jot things down on and put them on the pages while I wait for the weekend and order my pictures. So while my album will cover all the days of December it's not something I will work on daily, rather weekly."
On my last two pages, we attended the Nutcracker ballet and it was SO much fun. I am actually creating an additional insert with the program and tickets, but I didn't have time to create those before this post.
I LOVE all the patterned papers in this kit, they are gorgeous and work so well with any pictures, so many colors and patterns to choose from
Thank you SO much for joining us this weekend. We can't wait to see what you're creating with your kits!
Very Merry Creating♥
