Hi everyone, Mou here with today's challenge: Use your October Afternoon washi tapes in three ways in a project.

And now, here's my take... I did an art journal page.
Washi tape use # 1: I covered a polaroid frame from the Midway Chipboard Bundle with Midway Word Bubbles washi tape.
Washi tape use # 2: I used Midway Photo Log washi tape and 9 to 5 Day Washi tape to mark the date on the page.
Washi tape use # 3: I used bits and pieces of Woodland Park washi tapes, Midway Word Bubbles washi tape, and Witch Hazel Mesh washi tape to create an accent cluster. Because washi tapes are self-adhesive, it's very easy to fold and pleat them to make ruffles.
Today I have Roree with me and here's her take on the challenge.
Roree says, "This was a very fun challenge, and it really got me to think a bit outside of the box for ways to use the Washi Tape. I used tapes from the Witch Hazel, Woodland Park, and 9 to 5 collections, along with other supplies from Woodland Park, Sidewalks, and Farm Fresh. I created a a frame for the card by applying it to a white cardstock base, I created a border by placing two strips back-to-back and trimming off the ends, and I created petals for the flower applying baby powder to the back of the tape to remove the tackiness and looping and layering the strips."
How fun is that! Thanks Roree!
You can take the challenge too! Please upload your creations to the OA Flickr Group so we can all be inspired!

How gorgeous are those tapes?! I love washi tape and may have to get my hands on one or two of those!

Mou, you are simply brilliant! I am going to have to play along later today. I really like the ideas that both of you came up with.
