We are very happy to announce that October Afternoon's 'Fly a Kite' line has been released in fabric! This line of fabric is manufactured and distributed by our wonderful partners at Riley Blake Designs.
If you liked the paper, you're going to love the fabric! We are so excited to launch this collection. We love seeing our designs made into quilts, clothing, bags and so many other creative sewing projects.
Here is a fun summer shirt that DT member Vivian made for her beautiful daughter.
You can purchase the "Fly a Kite" fabric patterns at Fat Quarter Shop, other online stores, or in a local quilting store near you.
If you would like to be the WINNER of this 'Fly A Kite' October Afternoon fat quarter stack, please leave a comment telling us about the fun projects that you will make if you win the stack!

What beautiful fabric and I would love to make a quilt for my 2 grand-daughters. The oldest one loves to help with projects and I'm sure she would love to help and say she helped to make her own quilt.

Such a fun stack! I would give it to my mom who is a huge quilter! She is always making me things like a cover for my sewing machine. She is now into making purses.Maybe she would make one with this fun stack!

A granddaughter of a quilter, I am teaching my children this art in hopes that they will pass the legacy to their children and grandchildren <3 Fly A Kite fabric will create a vibrant beautiful quilt (and of course a scrapbook page using Go Fly A Kit will be created to document) !
Thank you for this opportunity ....

I have been eyeing this line, I just love it! The damasks, polka dots and tiny florals are just adorable accent fabrics! I just received the new Quilting Modern book and would love to use it in the "Strip Tease" pattern.

I had no idea that you made this line into fabric. You are geniuses. If I won, I'd make some placemats for my patio table. I like to have tea parties, and the colors match my new paint job on my house. THANKS!

As avid lovers of scrapbooking and quilting, my bestie and I are planning to make matching quilts and this would be the perfect fabric! We joke that we'll need them when we end up in the nursing home together some day. Very nicely done. Big fans of fabric and scrapbook paper too.

As a quilter, I see great potential for OA to be in the fabric business. I find your papers delightful for scrapbooking--but often I have remarked, this would be striking in a quilt. I am excited to see your product in my two favorite stores now... the Scrapbook store and the Quilt Shoppe!
Thank you for making life even more fun!
Blessings
