what a neat sketch, love the booklet idea. Marcy your style still catches my eye every.single.time :) It's neat seeing your kids grow up. Danni, love your layout, I've not seen too many of those. So I guess that makes you now a card, and lo queen?! Thanks for the inspiration ladies.

Love both layouts! Danni reid and Marcy Penner...two of my fav's:)

I tried to upload using the link but it wouldn't allow me to open the link to flickr???

Here is a link to my take on this week's sketch!!! http://www.jennsscrapbooknook.com/2012/01/layout-for-october-afternoon-sketchy.html

TFL!

Great sketch. Just finished my layout. I LOVE layered layouts, flat layouts bore me. Mine fit perfectly in my album, I just don't put that many in each one. And why should a DT change THEIR style, just because some people don't like layers, then they have the flat sketch to look at. They can choose to not look at the inspiration.

Love this sketch Danni! Love your layout! it's DARLING! And I love what Marcy did with that TAG!!!! RAD!!!!!!! I gotta try that! So cute!

great sketch,, and wonderful LOs! Thanks Danni!! I will try to play along :)

LOVE the sketch and both layouts are stunning!! TFS!

Wow! What a fun and inspiring sketch Danni! And I love those layouts! I hope I'll find some time to play along!

Great sketch, Danni! I will surely try to play along :) Thanks for the inspiration!

Love both of these fantastic pages!

thank you very much for your thoughts Laurel, when designing challenges, it is something to take into consideration for those who do not wish to have 3-d items on their pages.

Great sketch, Danni. Will try to find some time to play along.

Love all your layers and details on these layouts ladies! Great sketch Danni!:)

These are amazing!!!!

Very pretty layouts, but I do wish your DT would greater take into consideration the fact that pages are stored inside page protectors: once all these 3D elements (like the multi layered hearts from yesterday, then the things featured today) get compressed, they lose the effect. They also seriously bulk up pages so much that you can't close an album.

Also, Marcy with the same black ink spots... We love you, but enough already! ;-)

My oh my!! SUCH a fun sketch and those LO's? WOW! Swooooonworthy!

Lovin' both layouts!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
