Hi everyone, it's Heather here with another guest designer post. This month is such a busy time, but one that is full of fun and memories.
In the paper crafting world, putting together a daily December mini book is being seen all over the place. There are kits for sale, templates to use, accessories to buy, etc. I put together my own book using a Christmas themed Golden Book called Santa's Toy Shop that I found at a thrisft store and supplies that I had on hand (and recently purchased...!) I am definitely using the Holiday Style line for some of my pages and have a few to share today that I have completed. My finished pages measure about 6"x8".
The 2nd day of December my mom, girls, and I took a shopping trip down to the Mall of America for the day.
For this page I used a page from the Golden Book as my base and then added a tree photo I took at the mall along with a star element from the Flower Sack embellishements.
Here is my daughter, Hana, writing out a letter to Santa at the Make a Wish table. I am doing the numbers on each page with a number die cut on a kraft paper circle. There's another star from the Flower Sack accessories and the Santa sticker is from the Word Stickers sheet.
December wasa day for me to meet up with a few friends down in the cities to scrapbook and stamp for the day. We got a little snow that day too...
I put my journaling card right through my typrwriter to add a little journaling from the day.
This page includes pictures from the day, the daily number, and a snowflake diecut from the Santa Claus Lane patterned paper.
December 4th was the day of the dinner at my church where I hostessed the table.
I attached the little pocket card that I shared last week to one of the pages.
This page includes a picture of my table and a photo of me with my mom and best friend Brianna - we had a great night out together at the dinner!
This mini book will definitely be a work in progress as the month goes on (and maybe even a little more time past that!) I will be sharing more of this project on my blog later on in the month!
See you again next week.

Wonderful project for all the inspiration. It is fabulous.

I have to get some of the Christmas in the city paper and accents! I really like how you used the old book for the base.
