Good morning all. Marcy here with a sketch for you to tackle this coming weekend. Over here our kiddos just started school this week, so I'm going to need some "play-with-paper" time! It's well deserved!
So, here's the sketch I have for you.
And here's what I did with it.
I kept it pretty straight forward. The biggest changes are that I moved my title over a bit and that my circles became buttons.
I passed the sketch over to Vivian and she whipped up a birthday card using the same sketch.
"I flipped the sketch 90 degrees to the right, mirror-reversed it, and flipped the dots from top to bottom (the stars), so it's a bit of a looser interpretation of the sketch."
So, there you go. A layout and a card from the same sketch. We'd love to see what you decide to do with the sketch! Link up here in the comment section and post it in our Flickr gallery!

I made a layout with this sketch:) Thanks for the great inspiration!!!

This was a really fun sketch, and I also loved the samples in this post. My take on this challenge is called "Bookworms," and I've just posted it to the OA Flickr gallery. You can also find it on my blog, in this post: http://greendenise.blogspot.com/2011/09/scrap-busting-sketches.html

I loved this sketch. I don't have many OA products unfortunately- still waiting on my last order to make it to Japan. It's been 5 weeks, still waiting. Luckily I did have some older OA products to use.
