Today we want to focus on our brand new product, Sprinklers! Sprinklers are acid-free pigment based spray inks. They come in a 1-fluid-ounce bottle with a spray pump nozzle, making it easy to add color and interest to all of your projects. You can spray our Sprinklers on paper, cardstock, ribbon, fabric...pretty much anything you can think of!
What makes our sprinklers so fabulous? Our ink colors perfectly coordinate with all of our patterned papers and embellishments. You will never have to worry if a color will look good with your project - all the guess work is taken out of it. Each new line has three coordinating Sprinkler colors that are available as a set or individually. There is also a set of neutral colors called OA Art Box that is perfect for any project. In addition, we have done extensive research to find the best spray nozzle to provide even, thorough coverage with minimal clogging.
You can use Sprinklers to add or change the color of a background or embellishment, add a fun texture or use a masking technique. The possibilities are just endless. DT members Lexi and Jill shared some awesome tutorials using Sprinklers here and here. We have heard that Marcy also has a Sprinkler tutorial coming up next week that you don't want to miss!
Danni Reid put together this beautiful card using the Lemon Drop Sprinkler.
She laid down a few butterfly punchouts to create a mask and then sprayed the ink over the entire piece of cardstock. Then she attached the butterflies with some pop dots to create some dimension. The buttons and trim just finish off this pretty card perfectly.
Marcy Penner created this awesome layout:
She used the Sprinklers to add some fun droplets of color on the background of her page. The different colors add some unique dimension and give just the perfect detail.
How great is this Birthday card made by Jill Sprott?
Jill says, "I put this birthday card together using paper, letters, and accents from the Rocket Age collection and a few of my favorite Sprinklers, Red Wagon and Robot Blue. I created a little "blast" of my own by misting over the background, as well as on the inside of the card. I've found that when misting, it helps to shake/roll the bottle first, to get the most intense, even color." Love it!!
So, are you excited to try this awesome new product? Well you are in luck because we are giving away a set of Sprinklers to two readers who leave us a comment today! Tell us your favorite technique for spray inks. If you have never used spray inks before tell us what technigue you are most excited to try.
Winners will be picked on Sunday evening. Have a wonderful Wednesday friends! :)

I'd have to say I use sprinklers most to either color my alphas to match a layout or just to place a few droplets of ink onto my page.

I've used mists twice. Once I misted the background and the other time I misted a florish mask in the corners. Lots of learn yet. Love the Colours of your sprinklers and your collection of fab papers.

LOVE that you've taken the guess work out of picking shades. My fave techniques are masking (doilies are awesome for this!), splattering like paint, and also using them as paints to color alphas, embellies or stamped images to match. :-D

I love to just drop it on pages. I still find it hard to mess up a page but am usually happy with the results.
